TCVS Portal
Treasury Checks Verification System
Overview
The Treasury Checks Verification System (TCVS) is now available in the SentiLink Dashboard. It utilizes the V2 API from Treasury and enables users to verify the status and legitimacy of U.S. Treasury checks directly with Treasury.
What Are Treasury Checks?
The U.S. Department of the Treasury issues Treasury checks for various federal payments, including:
- Tax Refunds (IRS-issued checks)
- Social Security Payments
- Federal Employee Payroll Checks
- Veterans Affairs (VA) Benefits
- Economic Stimulus Payments
- Government Vendor Payments
- Federal Loan Disbursements (e.g., student loans, disaster relief loans)
- Civil Service Retirement Checks
- Military Retirement & Survivor Benefits
- Federal Unemployment Benefits
Why Use SentiLink Instead of the Treasury Portal?
- Payee Name Verification – Unlike the Treasury’s web portal, SentiLink uses the V2 API,** which supports payee name verification**.
- We Don’t Ask if You Are a Robot - Unlike the Treasury portal, we don’t ask if you are a robot for every check you validate. Our portal ties in seamlessly with your existing Dashboard access.
